JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- Anyone for a couple of weeks lying on the white sand beaches in the Bahamas? How about a family vacation at DisneyWorld?

Or maybe it's time to take the high road and check off a few items on the honey-do list. Whatever their final decisions will be, though, 13 players ended up with a four-week break after they missed the cut, withdrew or were disqualified at The Barclays on Friday.

Only the top 100 players in the FedExCup standings on Sunday advance to play in next week's Deutsche Bank Championship. The tournament at TPC Boston is the second event in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup.

The players who missed the cut were Michael Allen, Robert Garrigus, Aaron Baddeley, James Driscoll, Jeff Quinney, Tim Herron, Mark Calcavecchia, Chris DiMarco, David Mathis, Roland Thatcher and Jeff Maggert.

Steve Flesch, who ranked No. 114, was disqualified for signing an incorrect scorecard while Chris Stroud withdrew to go home to be with his pregnant wife. He was ranked No. 117 entering the week.

Those 13 players are all ranked between No. 101-125, so without being able to add any more points to their FedExCup title, their fates were sealed.

As for the other 12 names who will not advance? They must wait until Sunday to see whether they can crack the top 100. Currently there are seven players who are above the threshold in the projected FedExCup points standings, but they must continue to play well over the final two rounds.

The biggest mover to date is Heath Slocum, who started The Barclays ranked No. 124 and was coming off a missed cut at the Wyndham Championship. He's currently tied for fourth, four shots off the lead, and has jumped 87 spots in the points projection.

Two Swedes -- Richard S. Johnson and Fredrik Jacobson -- have made big leaps in the FedExCup standings even as they seek what would be their first PGA TOUR wins.

Jacobson is 4 under through 36 holes and tied for fourth while Johnson is another stroke behind, in a three-way tie for sixth. Jacobsen, who started at No. 107, has climbed 74 spots in the projections while Johnson is up 63 spots to No. 45.

Troy Matteson, who is tied for 17th after two rounds of even par, came in as the man on the bubble, but he's been able to move up 38 spots to No. 87. Bill Lunde and Alex Cejka were Nos. 109 and 110, respectively, and have jumped up 26 spots in the projections.

Veteran Harrison Frazar, the medalist at q-school last year, is tied for 38th after rounds of 72 and 71. He's jumped up 16 spots to No. 96 in the FedExCup standings, as well.

The players on a downward spiral are Nick O'Hern, Ryuji Imada, K.J. Choi, Ben Curtis, Daniel Chopra, George McNeill and Matt Bettencourt. So they must play well if they are to avoid elimination.
