Five things you should know about Tiger Woods

Since turning professional in 1996, Woods has won 88 tournaments -- 67 of those victories on the PGA TOUR, including at least three wins in each of the four majors with the exception being the Masters and British Open, where he has four victories in each event, for a total of 14 Major wins. Since its launch in 1996, The Tiger Woods Foundation has touched more than 10 million youths through character development programs, scholarships, grants, junior golf teams, and the Tiger Woods Learning Center in an attempt to help young people reach their goals. He has more career major wins and career PGA TOUR wins than any other active golfer. He is the youngest player to achieve the career Grand Slam and the youngest and fastest to win 50 tournaments on TOUR. Tiger's perfect day is to surf, ski, play golf and go spear-fishing, and his favorite movie is Caddyshack. Woods refers to his ethnic makeup as "Cablinasian" (a blended word he coined from Caucasian, Black, American Indian, and Asian). To be exact, Woods is one-fourth black, one-fourth Thai, one-fourth Chinese, one-eighth white and one-eighth American Indian.
