George McNeill should enter the 2009 season with considerable confidence. Granted, he didn't win, as he had done as a rookie in 2007, but McNeill did manage to tie for second twice last year. The first was at the PODS Championship where he closed with a 69 to move up from a tie for 10th. McNeill flirted with victory again at the Ginn sur Mer Classic during the Fall Series, this time vaulting from 10th to second with a final-round 69. McNeill, who was working as an assistant pro as recently as in 2006, now has two straight seven-figure seasons. A solid ball-striker, this native Floridian ranked 13th in greens in regulation and 23rd all-around on TOUR last year. -- Helen Ross
The chart above represents this player's rank on TOUR in 2008 for five skill ratings categories. Each category is based on an aggregate score which is calculated from key statistics for that skill area.

Doesn't fold sweaters for a living anymore -- not by a long shot. George took a while to find the TOUR but he isn't planning on leaving soon.
