The 2009 season should be an interesting one for Kenny Perry. His goals won't be as clearly defined as they were last year when the 47-year-old's focus was to make the U.S. Ryder Cup team that would play in his native Kentucky.
Perry accomplished his goal with a brilliant summer spurt that saw him win three times in five starts. And two weeks before that run started, he lost the AT&T Classic in a playoff.
Once he got to Valhalla, Perry was the crowd favorite everyone expected. He was steady, too, posting a 2-1-1 record for the victorious Americans. He finished fifth on the money list with $4.6 million and 15th in the FedExCup. What does he do for an encore?
