After posting his fifth runner-up finish at last year's Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, Tim Clark has got to look at 2009 and wonder whether this will be the year he finally wins his first PGA TOUR event. The diminutive South African is coming off another solid season, earning $1.7 million and hitting seven figures for the sixth straight year. He flirted with golf's magic number, too, moving to 11 under before making bogey on his final two holes at TPC Boston during the Deutsche Bank Championship. The ensuing 62 was his second on TOUR. Clark also tied for sixth at the Wyndham Championship where his good friend and former N.C. State teammate and roommate, Carl Pettersson, captured his third TOUR win. Clark finished 26th in the FedExCup and 45th on the money list. -- Helen Ross
