Anthony Kim will need some new "AK" belt buckles to keep us happy in 2009 because it's a pretty sure bet he won't stay out of the limelight for long. The 23-year-old Californian is oozing with confidence after a breakthrough season in 2008.
Kim's first victory came at the Wachovia Championship, where he beat Ben Curtis by five strokes, eclipsing the tournament's 72-hole record -- held by his idol, Tiger Woods -- by three. His next victory came at the event Woods hosts, the AT&T National; he came from three strokes off the pace and won by two.
Kim's keeping some fine company; the last players to win twice in a season before their 24th birthday were Adam Scott and Sergio Garcia. He also got to hang with a great group of guys at the Ryder Cup where he beat Garcia in Singles.
